We, the sisters of the Cross of Chavanod in Tamilnadu, India (Provinces of Trichy and Madurai) are privileged to serve the Church of Tamilnadu and Pondicherry by taking charge of the Lumen Institute at Tindivanam, Tamilnadu, India. This institute is run by the Tamilnadu Pondicherry Conference of Religious India (TNPCRI) to impart a deep spiritual formation to the women religious working in the milieu of Tamilnadu.
On the 30th June 2020, at 10.30 am during the Eucharistic celebration, Lumen Institute was handed over to Sr. Jyothi Selvaraj, provincial of Trichy and Sr. Fatima Kattar, provincial of Madurai for the coming three years. The installation of Sr.Metti Amirtham, (Province of Trichy) as Superior and Principal, Sr. Nirmala, (Province of Madurai) as treasurer while Sr. Jeyaseeli Priya (Province of Trichy) for house management took place in the presence of TNCRI president, the executive members, Sr. Jyothi Selvaraj and Sr. Fatima Kattar. We appreciate them for their availability to serve this common cause of the Church and wish them God’s blessings and prayers as they begin their new ministry.
